Guiding Principles
We believe that caring for land helps people access and enjoy nature in meaningful ways. Whether we're tending trees, improving landscapes, or building trails, our projects are more than tasks, they're opportunities to inspire the next generation of land stewards.
When trails get used, when a forest becomes healthier, when a landowner feels newly connected to their property... That's the work that excites us. We want to encourage people to appreciate the land they live on and to care for it with curiosity, intention, and pride.

Who We Are
We're Kyle and Nichole: husband and wife, business partners, and outdoor recreators. Our story began in State Parks, where we worked side-by-side stewarding the land.
Kyle's connection to trees started early. His dad was climbing a tree when he got the call that Kyle's mom had gone into labor. Maybe that was foreshadowing, because Kyle has worked as a professional in tree care since 2015, bringing skill, respect, and deep environmental knowledge to every project. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from SUNY Oneonta where he learned about trail design and construction. He is now an Owner-Operator of Arbor Solutions.
Nichole earned her Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Management and Protection from Humboldt State University. She spent most of her career as a Naturalist in National, State, and Regional Parks. She dedicated fifteen years to learning about plants and animals, educating the public, community leaders, and elected officials to help foster emotional and intellectual connections between people and the environment. She is a Senior Program Manager for a wildfire research collaborative and an Owner-Operator of Arbor Solutions.
Together, we pair science-based land stewardship with hands-on experience and an honest love of the outdoors.
